Referees
| Two referees watch
the game from the side lines. Two additional referees watch the markings and only decide if a point was scored by placing the Jugg inside the marking or not. If a point was scored, the referee gives both visual and audible signals. It is recommended to have another two referees watching the Quicks, so they may not stand up before counting all of their stones. The referees are to be obeyed at all times. No discussions. If a player violates the rules, a referee may set up a penalty at own judgement. This can be either downing a player for a certain number of stones or even sending him out of game. When a player is sent out of game, he is to be replaced immediately. No team ever has to play with only four players. This text was copied from www.jugger.de and then translated. |
